City of Jacksonville: Street Rehabilitation Improvements

Project Description

The City of Jacksonville commissioned SPI to prepare a study for the rehabilitation of all 120 miles of streets within the city limits. The study included measurements, suggested rehabilitation types, and cost estimates for every street within the city limits. The study also included a maintenance plan for perpetual maintenance of the streets. Based on the results of the study, SPI prepared construction plans for a phased 6-year street rehabilitation program. A new phase was developed and constructed each year, and SPI performed all construction administration and Resident Project Representation.Construction was completed at an approximate total cost of $6 million.
